The Racecourse offers accessible tickets to all of its racedays which entitle a complimentary ticket for a personal assistant.

Yes, accessible toilets are available in all of the Racecourse’s buildings and stands which can be accessed via a radar key.

These radar keys can be collected from the reception in Berkshire Stand or from any bar or restaurant while our accessible racegoers are welcome to use their own key.

Yes, Newbury Racecourse offers dedicated accessible parking.

All of our car parks have accessible parking spaces but we’d recommend racegoers requiring accessible parking head for Car Park 4 in the first instance.

Parking in Car Park 4 is on level tarmac with drop kerbs to the entry gates. Where parking may not be available in Car Park 4 we will endeavour to find the most suitable parking space, as close to the gates as possible.

Please note that Car Park 1, which is located in the Centre of the Course, is a grass parking surface.

Accessible tickets can be purchased online (please use the ‘Concession & Accessible’ tab on the raceday you’re looking to purchase tickets for.

Accessible tickets can also be purchased over the phone on 01635 40015 and on the gate on a raceday.

However, the earlier you book an accessible ticket the better deal you’ll get.

Unfortunately, Newbury Racecourse station does not have a lift, only a pedestrian bridge.

If you are travelling eastbound you’ll need to leave the platform at the Racecourse’s station and turn left on Hambridge Road and then pass over the small railway bridge.

If you are travelling westbound you will need to take a service which stops at the main Newbury station and from there either embark an eastbound train or take a taxi.

Improved accessibility access can be found at the main Newbury station, from which taxis are available to make the short journey to the Racecourse.

The Racecourse doesn’t currently have any changing places toilets on-site.

However if you require this facility please do let us know by calling in advance and we’ll do our best to help.

Yes, mobility scooters and powered chairs are permitted on-site.

The Racecourse is equipped with induction loops at all entrances and on the ground floor of both the Berkshire and Grandstand.

Yes, multi-day tickets and passes are available for selected two-day weekend meetings – BetVictor March Racing, BetVictor Jumps Season Finale, Dubai Duty Free International Weekend, Dubai Duty Free International Weekend, BetVictor Flat Finale with Oktoberfest and the Coral Gold Cup.

A three-night pass is available for July’s Summer Evening Series with Hits Radio.

Our Four Saturdays pass offers the best value of all of our multi-day passes and entitles access to four big Saturday racedays – Dubai Duty Free Spring Trials (April), Lockinge with Ladies Day (May), Dubai Duty Free International (September) and the Coral Gold Cup (December).

Multi-day passes and tickets offer additional discounts on top of those available for booking early.

If you’re keen to attend more than one day of racing then they’ll offer you the most cost effective way – outside of becoming a Newbury Member – of doing so.

For our evening fixtures racing will typically start at between 4pm – 5pm.

We’ll typically host six or seven races on any raceday with the last race likely to finish around three and half a hours after the day’s first race.

For our music racedays (in July and August) the concert will typically start around 30 minutes after the last race.

Bars accessible for those with General Admission tickets (non-hospitality) typically close before or at the end of the day’s last race, and we will ask our customers to drink up around half an hour after the last race is complete.

If you’ve booked in the Racegoers’ Restaurant you should head for Car Park 4.

If you’re in any of our other hospitality spaces you’ll be able to park in Car Park 1 (on all weekend racedays and on selected Friday racedays) or Car Park 4 (on all racedays).

Car Park 2 is reserved for owners, trainers, jockeys and officials.

Yes, vehicles can be parked for free on-site and left overnight.

Please note, the Racecourse cannot accept liability for any vehicles left on-site overnight.

Yes, Newbury Racecourse has its own station (a 1-2 minute walk from the gates) and regular services run from a number of major stations and areas across the region.

Shorter travel times might be possible to Newbury’s main station which is a 10-15 minute walk from Racecourse.

Newbury Racecourse is easily accessible from the North, East and West via the M4, A4 and Hambridge Road – those attending from these directions should use the postcode RG14 7PN and follow the yellow and brown signage to the appropriate car parks.

Those driving to Newbury Racecourse from the South via A34, A339 and Racecourse Road should use the postcode RG14 7NZ.

Newbury Racecourse offers all racegoers free on-site parking.

Members and hospitality guests enjoy preferential parking.

If you’ve booked in the Racegoers’ Restaurant you should head for Car Park 4.

If you’re in any of our other hospitality spaces you’ll be able to park in Car Park 1 (on all weekend racedays and on selected Friday racedays) or Car Park 4 (on all racedays).

Gates typically open two hours before the day’s first race. For specific raceday timings please consult the individual raceday pages available via the fixture list page or by clicking here.

Car parks open 30 minutes before gates open on any raceday, unless early arrivals are booked directly with the Racecourse.

Car Parks 4 & 5 are open on all racedays and a good place to start.

Accessible parking is available at the front of Car Park 4.

If you have a Grandstand Enclosure ticket or are booked into our Racegoers’ Restaurant you should park in Car Park 4 or 5.

Members and hospitality guests receive preferential parking in Car Park 4.

Car Park 1 is open on Saturday racedays (and selected Friday racedays) – Members, those with Premier Enclosure tickets, and hospitality guests (excl. those in the Racegoers’ Restaurant) are able to park in Car Park 1.

Car Park 2 is reserved for owners, trainers, jockeys and officials.

Yes, vehicles can be parked for free on-site and left overnight.

Please note, the Racecourse cannot accept liability for any vehicles left on-site overnight.

The Racecourse operates a drop-off and pick-up point from adjacent to the Eastern Entrance so please head here if you’re being dropped off or collected.

Yes, Newbury Racecourse offers dedicated accessible parking.

All of our car parks have accessible parking spaces but we’d recommend racegoers requiring accessible parking head for Car Park 4 in the first instance.

Parking in Car Park 4 is on level tarmac with drop kerbs to the entry gates. Where parking may not be available in Car Park 4 we will endeavour to find the most suitable parking space, as close to the gates as possible.

Please note that Car Park 1, which is located in the Centre of the Course, is a grass parking surface.

No, unfortunately the Racecourse does not yet have capacity for electric vehicles to be charged as things stand, although we are hopeful to have these in place in the near future so please watch this space.

A taxi pick-up and drop-off point is available close to East Gate at all of our racedays.

Yes, a regular bus services stops and departs from the Racecourse, with a bus stop located close to East Entrance.

The Racecourse are pleased to offer bicycle racks at The Lodge in Car Park 2 and in Car Park 4 near East Entrance.

Yes, we offer Memberships for those aged 18-24 and those aged 25-29.

These offer the same rights as a Full Membership but at a lower price.

Memberships are likely to go on sale in August/September for the following year.

Each Member will receive a number of vouchers to bring a guest to the Racecourse for free.

These vouchers can then be exchanged on raceday for a free ticket and a Members’ Guest swing badge.

This Members’ Guest swing badge will allow your guest to enter your exclusive Members’ Areas during the raceday.

To exchange a voucher on a raceday please head to the East Entrance – we ask that you’ve completed the back of the voucher (with your guest’s details) before arriving at the Racecourse.

Please note, there are a number of racedays throughout the year at which vouchers can’t be redeemed – these racedays are detailed on the vouchers themselves.

As a Member you’re entitled to a 20% discount on up to six tickets for each raceday.

What’s more, this discount is available on top of the discount for purchasing early so you can make some really big savings by booking these discounted tickets early.

You can book online – once you log into your account and add tickets to your basket the 20% discount should be applied automatically.

Yes, those guests attending with you courtesy of your free guest vouchers will be given a swing badge which will grant them admission to the Members’ suites on the day they attend.

Yes, Under 18s go free to 29 of Newbury’s 31 racedays each year.

Under 18s are required to buy a ticket – at a heavily discounted rate – for Newbury’s two music racedays each year.

Under 4s go free to all racedays.

Yes, Under 4s go free to all racedays and do not require a ticket.

Those aged under 18 will need to be accompanied by an adult (over the age of 18) to be able to attend racing at Newbury.

WHAt to Bring

Racegoers are able to bring a sealed bottle of water (500ml) into the Racecourse.

Please note, bringing any other food and drink into the Racecourse isn’t permitted.

Many of our racegoers choose to enjoy a picnic within their car in our car parks before racing. If you would like space external to your car to enjoy a picnic, please contact the Racecourse directly.

Please note, picnics may not be brought into the Racecourse itself.

Those joining us in one of our hospitality spaces can request to bring in decorations, balloons or a cake (or similar) and we ask this is done by emailing hospitality@newburyracecourse.co.uk.

Unfortunately, those with general admission tickets are not able to request to bring in decorations, balloons or a cake (or similar).

Yes, small bags are entitled to be brought in the Racecourse.

However, please be aware that entry may take slightly longer as a result of bag search/checks.

Those with Premier Enclosure tickets are able to access a cloakroom facility on the ground floor of the Berkshire Stand.

If you wish to bring professional filming or camera equipment into the Racecourse we ask that you apply for press and media accreditation.

This can be done via the Press & Media section within About Newbury.
