Is there a charge for car parking at the venue?
No, all car parking at Newbury Racecourse is completely complimentary. Whether you're arriving in a handful of cars or coordinating transport for a larger group, there's ample free on-site parking ready and waiting, with no additional costs to factor into your team building event planning.
If you'd prefer to arrive by rail, our on-site train station makes Newbury Racecourse one of the most accessible suitable venues in the UK for away days and corporate team building. Easy access from London and across Berkshire and Hampshire means your team can arrive relaxed and ready for the adventure ahead.
Do you have any electric vehicle charging points at the venue?
We don't currently have EV charging points on site, though it's something we're looking to introduce going forward as part of our wider sustainability commitments. We'd encourage you to bear this in mind when planning travel arrangements for your team event.
In the meantime, our helpful team are happy to point you towards the nearest available charging points in Newbury. Simply get in contact ahead of your booking and we'll make sure you have everything you need to start your visit smoothly.
Which car park should I use for my event?
Your dedicated event manager will confirm your car park allocation as part of the booking process, so your team can track where they're heading and arrive without confusion, getting straight into the activities and fun on the day. When navigating to the site, please use the postcode RG14 7NZ via Hambridge Road.
Please note that the postcode listed on the racing section of our website leads to a council-operated barrier that we're unable to open, so do bear that in mind when sharing journey details with colleagues. If you have any questions ahead of the day, our team are ready and on hand to help with every detail.
Can I bring my own caterer for our team building activities or corporate event?
Our in-house catering team is well-equipped to deliver a complete range of menus for team building events and corporate away days at Newbury Racecourse, from street food and BBQ options to private dining and more formal meal formats. The team work closely with our events colleagues to ensure every element of your occasion is delivered seamlessly and on schedule.
External caterers are not typically permitted on site, though exceptions are made where our in-house team cannot cater for specific requirements, such as certain specialist menus. If you have particular needs, simply raise them as part of your initial enquiry and our friendly team will explore every option to make sure your group enjoys a great experience.
