Home About Newbury Diversity & Inclusion
At Newbury Racecourse we aim to create a welcoming and accessible environment for all.
Newbury Racecourse shares racing’s vision to be a diverse and inclusive sport and are a proud part of racing’s ‘Industry Commitment’ to ensure racing is a sport for everyone.
This commitment formalizes the sport’s approach and commitment to diversity and inclusion with much of the sport’s work highlighted and celebrated through Racing Together.
British racing is one of the few sports where all genders compete on equal terms and there’s more to come.
Racing Together’s vision is for British racing to be know as a ‘force for good’ and works extensively across diversity in racing.
A large part of Racing Together’s work centres on the #ALLINTHERACE campaign. View the video below.
While we’re proud that British racing is one of only a handful of sports in which all genders compete on equal terms it’s not enough for us to stop there.
There’s always more work to be done and you can explore what we’ve been up to via the below link.
If you see, hear or become aware of any wrongdoing in racing you can anonymously report it to the British Horseracing Authority (BHA) online or call 0800 085 2580.
