Press & Media

Newbury Racecourse hosts year-round racing and a number of highlight events which garner significant interest and coverage.

Find everything you need to know to apply for press or media accreditation here.

The Racecourse asks that all requests for accreditation are made at least 48 hours prior to the raceday or event for which accreditation is sought.

A number of pre-accredited media will not need to apply directly with the Racecourse, read on to find out more.

Apply for accreditation

Requests for press and media accreditation should be made at least 48 hours before the raceday or event subject to the accreditation request.

Applications will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and a response will be shared as soon as possible after the request is received.

Those members of the press who don’t hold an RCA annual press badge are asked to supply an editor’s letter of support – on headed paper – when requesting accreditation.

Accreditation requests from photographers should be accompanied by a signed copy of the Racecourse’s photography terms and conditions document. This can be downloaded and reviewed by clicking here.

Those in possession of an RCA annual press badge are not required to apply for accreditation with Newbury Racecourse.
