WHAT TO BRING
Pretty much everything you need to enjoy a day at Newbury Racecourse is available on-site.
But there are a few things you’ll need to bring with you to make sure you’re able to make the most of your day.
At the same time, there are a number of items you wouldn’t be permitted to bring into the Racecourse.

Prohibited Items
Those visiting Newbury Racecourse are asked not to bring:
- Glass or glass containers
- Food and drink (other than a sealed 500ml bottle of water)
- Knives, weapons or sharp objects
- Picnics
- Bicycles or scooters
- Barbeques or cooking appliances
- Gazebos, tents, parasols or similar temporary structures
- Folding chairs, garden furniture, picnic sets or similar
- Pets, including dogs but excluding Assistance dogs
- Professional recording equipment – sound or visual
- Drones
- Laser pens
- Illegal substances
- Balloons and inflatables
- Flares, pyrotechnics and confetti cannons
- Flags, placards or banners
- Horns, klaxons or whistles
- Any item that could be construed a potential risk to public safety
- Any item that could be construed as offensive
