WHAT TO BRING

Pretty much everything you need to enjoy a day at Newbury Racecourse is available on-site.

But there are a few things you’ll need to bring with you to make sure you’re able to make the most of your day.

At the same time, there are a number of items you wouldn’t be permitted to bring into the Racecourse.

Prohibited Items

Those visiting Newbury Racecourse are asked not to bring:

  • Glass or glass containers
  • Food and drink (other than a sealed 500ml bottle of water)
  • Knives, weapons or sharp objects
  • Picnics
  • Bicycles or scooters
  • Barbeques or cooking appliances
  • Gazebos, tents, parasols or similar temporary structures
  • Folding chairs, garden furniture, picnic sets or similar
  • Pets, including dogs but excluding Assistance dogs
  • Professional recording equipment – sound or visual
  • Drones
  • Laser pens
  • Illegal substances
  • Balloons and inflatables
  • Flares, pyrotechnics and confetti cannons
  • Flags, placards or banners
  • Horns, klaxons or whistles
  • Any item that could be construed a potential risk to public safety
  • Any item that could be construed as offensive
