Pre Raceday

Owner Ticketing Privileges

Owners, or their representatives, can request in advance up to six Owners’ badges or 10 for dual owners or syndicates.

Please register via the PASS system no later than 4pm on the day before racing.

Advance booking via the PASS System will enable us to ensure appropriate facilities and arrangements are in place. However, badges may be collected on the day if booking in advance is not possible.

Please note advance booking and badge collection on the day can only be done by the owner. Bookings will not be accepted by third parties on an owner’s behalf.

Restaurant Booking

We offer up to 6 complimentary dining vouchers per horse to enjoy a two course lunch from our raceday buffet in our dedicated restaurant in the OLBG Owners Club.

Although not essential, we encourage you to book a table in advance should you wish to eat at a specific time by contacting Claire Ricketts via the form below or calling 07768 982626.

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee the table for the day. We do not take bookings on the day and would advise that you to speak to a member of our lovely restaurant team, on your arrival so the can book you in. Should you not turn up for your booking at the time you requested, we may have to let the table go. There will, however, be a grace period of 15 minutes after which the table will be released.

On The Day

Travel & Car Parking

Reserved parking is provided for Owners & Trainers in Car Park 2 with no car park pass required.

Please follow directional signage and stewards on the day while using the postcode RG14 7NZ.

Accessible parking for blue badge holders is available in Car Park 2 and we advise calling in advance to reserve a space.

Newbury Racecourse has its very own train station.

Once arriving at Newbury Racecourse station, you will have a short walk (1-2 minutes) to the OLBG Owners Club. View links to travel guidance below.

Facilities

Owners and trainers have exclusive access to the OLBG Owners’ Club, with a dedicated bar, restaurant and outside terrace.

There’s also reserved space on the trackside steppings of both the Berkshire and Hampshire stands.

Access to the Pre-parade, parade rings and winners’ enclosure is available for owners with runners.

Facilities

Winning & Placed Connections

A winning memento has kindly been provided for every race, and there will be formal presentations from the Winners’ Enclosure.

Connections of the winning horse will be welcomed into the Winners’ Enclosure for their horse’s return before being invited to watch a race replay and enjoy a celebratory glass of champagne in the Royal Box.

Placed connections – numbers allowing – will be invited to enjoy a glass of champagne or offered a voucher for a drink to redeem at the bar in the OLBG Owners’ Club.

For trophy collections on a raceday, please advise a member of Racecourse staff before the last race and we will be able to advise you of our procedure for perpetual trophies.

Staying Over

Newbury Racecourse is home to The Lodge – a 36 bedroom hotel located close to the centre of the Racecourse – so why rush off after your day.
