Can I hire your spaces for commercial filming on a race day?
Our site is a busy venue on race days, so filming and commercial projects during those dates require special coordination. We recommend contacting our hospitality team in advance at hospitality@newburyracecourse.co.uk to discuss your production needs and confirm whether access is possible on your preferred date.
Our team will work with you to plan every detail of your shoot, from crew access to parking for vehicles. Depending on the nature of your project, we may be able to accommodate requests on the periphery of the site or suggest an alternative date that gives your production enough time and space to achieve the best results.
Are your filming spaces accessible?
Yes, all our spaces are DDA compliant, making them accessible for crew members, visitors, and anyone involved in your production. Whether you intend to shoot on the ground floor of our Grandstand or across our 225 acres of outdoor location, the site is managed to support easy movement of people and resources throughout.
We also offer 24 hour access, on-site security, and 3,700 free parking spaces, so there is more than enough room for production vehicles, equipment, and materials. Is there a charge for the car park?
No, all car parking at Newbury Racecourse is complimentary for every booking, including commercial filming projects. With 3,700 spaces on site, there is plenty of room to accommodate crew vehicles, production trucks, and any other transport your shoot requires.
This is a significant benefit for productions that need to bring a large volume of equipment and services to the location. Free parking removes one cost from the process and helps protect your project budget, so you can focus your resources on capturing quality footage and video content instead.
Do you have any electric charging points at the venue?
At present, we do not have electric charging points on site. However, our team can provide detail on the nearest charging points in the Newbury area so your crew can plan their travel in advance. Please get in contact with us to discuss your requirements.

Which car park should I use when bringing a filming crew to the venue?
Please contact your event manager to confirm your car park allocation before arriving on site. When you drive to the venue, follow the postcode RG14 5AW. It is important to note that the postcode displayed on the racing page of our website will lead you to a council operated barrier that we are unable to open, so please use the correct form of entry.
Once the detail of your booking is confirmed, our team will provide a complete guide for your crew, including directions, parking locations, and on-site contact information. Planning this in advance helps your production run smoothly and ensures your team can upload equipment and set up the scene without delays on the day.
Can I bring my own caterer for a commercial project on site?
As a standard practice, external caterers are not permitted on site. Our in-house catering services, managed by Levy, are fully equipped to support productions of any length, from a quick TV shoot to a multi-day brand or commercial filming project. We can accommodate a wide range of dietary requirements and create menus to suit your crew.
The only exception is where our in-house caterers cannot meet specific requirements, such as for Asian Weddings or events with specialist catering demands. If you need to discuss catering for your production, please contact our team to plan the detail of your booking and ensure everything is in place for a smooth experience.
