There’s a whole host to enjoy during the Coral Gold Cup weekend including:
Coral Gold Cup
Don’t miss the highlight of Saturday – the Coral Gold Cup gets underway at 2:55pm. Head trackside to see who will claim victory in this year’s historic £250,000 race.
Denman Marquee
Head to the newly named Denman Marquee, where you can enjoy a fully stocked bar and catch all the racing action on big screens while dancing to our resident DJ throughout the afternoon. Then, after the last race, the ultimate raceday afterparty takes centre stage!
Jockey Activation – Signing & Stickers
Get the chance to meet your favourite jockey courtesy of an autograph session on Saturday. Pick up your favourite jockey stickers too!
Coral Gold Cup Sale by Goffs
Fancy experiencing the adrenaline of a horse sale? Head to the parade ring after the last race on Saturday.
Free Chair-O-Planes Rides
Gather your friends and family to get a different view of the Racecourse as you lap around on the chair-o-plane – all included within your ticket!
Trips to the Jump
Join ex-jockey David Crosse and get up close and personal with the horses at the final jump – enjoy a view of a race’s closing stages like never before.
Coral Rewards Human Grabber
Try your luck in the Dubai Duty Free Grandstand with the Coral Human Grabber – become the claw and grab exciting prizes in this fun, hands-on interactive game.
Retraining of Racehorses (RoR) Parade
Keep an eye out for some familiar equine faces as they return to the Racecourse to parade – including Coral Long Distance Hurdle star Paisley Park.
Meet a Retired RacehorseÂ
Get up close and personal with Marhvelous – our equine ambassador, courtesy of Greatwood Charity. Marhvelous will be situated just inside the East Entrance at the start of the day.
Free Shuttle Bus
A free shuttle bus running from 5pm – 8pm on Saturday will be available – departing from outside the East Entrance – to take racegoers to Newbury Bus Station (in the town centre).
TICKETS
Your ticket(s) should have arrived via email.
Simply scan your digital ticket(s) – or via the attachment(s) you receive via email – to gain access to the Racecourse.
You’ll also be able to print the digital ticket(s) you received via email and scan printed versions on arrival if you’d prefer.
If you’re looking to purchase additional tickets for friends or family, you can still purchase tickets below or on the gate on the day.
SATURDAY TICKETS
ACCESSING THE RACECOURSE
If you have a Grandstand Enclosure ticket, please enter through the North Entrance.
If you have a Premier Enclosure ticket, please use either the East Entrance or South Entrance, as shown on the map below.

DRESS CODE
Newbury Racecourse wants all racegoers to feel comfortable during their visit – please see below for dress recommendations.
Grandstand Enclosure
Newbury’s Grandstand Enclosure offers a relaxed dress code with non-offensive fancy dress welcome.
Please note, football/sports team shirts are not permitted
Premier Enclosure
Racegoers are encouraged to wear smart attire in the Premier Enclosure and many racegoers choose to dress up for their day with us.
Smart shorts, smart denim jeans and trainers are all permitted.
Denim should not be ripped while fancy dress, football/sports team shirts and vests are not permitted.
Under 12s
Please note, no dress code applies to Under 12s in any of Newbury Racecourse’s spaces.

WHAT TO WEAR
FOOD & DRINK
An array of food and drink – catering for a wide range of taste and dietary requirements – will be available across the Racecourse.
Vegan Offering
The Racecourse’s three coffee yards – on the ground and first floors of the Berkshire Stand and the first floor of the Dubai Duty Free Grandstand – offer a number of hot and cold vegan options.
Gluten Free Offering
The Butchers’ Block (ground floor of Berkshire), The Paddock Kitchen (first floor of Berkshire), Piglets Pantry (first floor of Hampshire) and the 1905 (first floor of the Hampshire) all offer menus which can be tailored to create gluten free options.
Dairy Free Offering
Oat, almond and soya milk are available across the Racecourse.

GETTING HERE & TRAVEL
By Rail
Newbury Racecourse has its own train station, which is just one stop from Newbury Station with regular connections from major stations across the region.
Once arriving at Newbury Racecourse station it’s simply a case of making the short walk (1-2 minutes) to the Racecourse.
By Road
The Racecourse is also easily accessible by road, with free on-site parking.
Those travelling by road from the east, west and north via the M4 should enter site via Hambridge Road (nearest postcode RG14 7PN), while those travelling from the south via the A339 should enter the course via Racecourse Road (nearest postcode RG14 7GL).
If travelling by road, please follow traffic marshal directions when arriving, who will be on hand to direct you to the appropriate car parks.
PLAN YOUR JOURNEY
CAR PARKING
All on-site parking at Newbury Racecourse is free with Car Parks 4 & 5 open for the Coral Gold Cup weekend.
If you hold a Premier Enclosure ticket you’ll be able to park for free in Car Park 1 (Centre Course).
Please note, priority parking is reserved for Members in Car Park 4a with Car Park 4b and Car Park 5 available for all other racegoers.
Please follow our stewarding team’s instructions when arriving to park.
Car parks open at 9:30am on Saturday, while vehicles can be left on-site overnight.
A coach park – for minibuses and coaches – is also available and staff will be on hand to direct appropriate vehicles to this car park.

FREE WIFI & APP
Newbury Racecourse offer all racegoers the use of a free Wi-Fi service.
When on-site simply select ‘FREE WIFI’ and create an account to start using the free service.
Britbet’s Raceday Ready App – designed to enhance your experience with us – will be available for use on-site at Newbury Racecourse – this can be accessed via links below or QR codes across site and within the Racecard.
You’ll also be able to access your ticket(s) on the Raceday Ready app.
RACECARDS
If you’re thinking of having a bet while you’re with us then you’ll be able to get all the insight and latest form within our Racecard.
These are available to purchase from sellers on the East Entrance and at the designated Racecard booths and are priced at £4.

OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Cashless Site
Please note, Newbury Racecourse is a cashless site. Only the on-site bookmakers and the Tote will accept cash. Cash machines can be found on-site.
Under 18s
Any racegoers under the age of 18 will need to be accompanied by a responsible adult (aged 21 or over or their parent) to enter the Racecourse, with a maximum of three Under 18s with any one adult.
Once on-site at the Racecourse, those aged 15 or under will need to be accompanied by their responsible adult at all times.
Challenge 25
Please note, Newbury Racecourse operates a ‘Challenge 25’ policy for alcohol purchase and consumption. Anyone lucky enough to look under 25, will need to show ID at either the East Entrance or at the Berkshire Stand Reception, where a ‘Challenge 25′ wristband will be issued.
Drugs Detection Dogs
Newbury Racecourse operate a zero-tolerance policy on anti-social behaviour and on the use of drugs. Drugs detection dogs will be on-site and on all entrances.
Ticket Touts
Please do not buy or sell from unauthorised ticket touts as we cannot guarantee tickets purchased in this manner will be valid for entry.
Security Checks and Searches
Bags may be searched upon entry and re-entry, we therefore ask racegoers to consider keeping bags and possessions to a minimum. Wand searches and or pat downs may also be carried out.
First Aid
A First Aid point is available adjacent to the East Entrance.
