Trade Nation Named Official Trading Partner Of Newbury Racecourse

Award-winning global trading platform - Trade Nation - strengthens existing partnership with Newbury Racecourse

Newbury Racecourse is pleased to announce an expanded partnership with the award-winning online global trading platform and fintech, Trade Nation.

Having initially come on board as a race sponsor in 2024, Trade Nation has now been appointed as Newbury’s Official Trading Partner, marking a significant step forward in the relationship between the two organisations.

The Trade Nation London Gold Cup Heritage Handicap returns on Saturday 16 May and features as the third race on BOYLE Sports Lockinge with Ladies Day. The 1m2f contest, restricted to three-year-old horses, boasts a total prize fund of £100,000.

Trade Nation is a UK-based, FCA-regulated spread betting and CFD broker and fintech company founded in 2014. It positions itself as a “fair-value” trading provider, offering retail traders access to global financial markets through low-cost fixed spreads, leverage trading, and tax-efficient spread betting. The platform provides access to 1,000+ markets including FX, indices, shares, and commodities, alongside trading tools such as TradingView integration and fast execution technology.

Alongside its trading services, Trade Nation continues to build an impressive sports sponsorship portfolio. The company currently serves as the official trading partner and sleeve partner of Aston Villa Football Club, as well as principal sponsor of Somerset County Cricket Club.

This expanded partnership with Newbury Racecourse represents a further extension of Trade Nation’s involvement in the sports industry. Under the new agreement, the brand will benefit from prominent year-round visibility and exposure across the racecourse.

Philippe Capelle, Chief Marketing Officer at Trade Nation, commented: “We’re delighted to be expanding on our partnership as Newbury represents a natural extension of our sports partnership strategy. The racecourse attracts an engaged, decision-focused audience that values quality and dependability — the same principles that guide how we’ve built Trade Nation as a specialist broker for serious traders.”

Shaun Hinds, Chief Executive at Newbury Racecourse, commented: “We are delighted to strengthen our association with Trade Nation through their appointment as Official Trading Partner. Since their initial involvement in 2024, they have become a valued partner, and we continue to be impressed by their professionalism, innovation, and approach to business.

“As a UK-based, FCA-regulated fintech and trading provider, they bring strong experience in engaging audiences, and there is a clear alignment with our commercial objectives and attitudes to growth.

“This enhanced agreement will deliver increased brand visibility for Trade Nation, while supporting our continued focus on providing a high-quality experience for racegoers and stakeholders alike.”
