Newbury Racecourse’s Summer Evening Series With Hits Radio Returns For 2026

Newbury Racecourse’s increasingly popular Summer Evening Series returns this July for a fourth consecutive year. The three Thursday evening racedays will once again be presented in partnership with Hits Radio, as the Racecourse’s affiliation with Bauer Media continues to go from strength to strength.

Following a hugely successful 2025 series, which saw attendances rise by 35% year-on-year, racegoers can enjoy the same themes, along with thrilling racing, live music, festival-style food and drink and a DJ afterparty to round off each of the raceday parties.

The series begins on Thursday 2 July with ‘The 70s Disco’, an evening packed with feel-good disco classics and a retro party atmosphere inspired by the iconic decade. Country music and Nashville-inspired fun then arrives at Newbury on Thursday 9 July for ‘The Wild Wild West’. Expect bourbon bars, hay bales, live country music and an afterparty hosted by award-winning country DJ, Rattlesnake Johnny. The final instalment of the series lands on Thursday 23 July with ‘The Beach Club’, transforming the Racecourse into an Ibiza-inspired sunset party complete with cocktails, beach décor and Balearic beats.

The 2026 Summer Evening Series promises to be better than ever and kickstarts a huge summer of music at the Racecourse. Hits Radio, known for playing the biggest hits alongside iconic throwbacks, continues its association with the Racecourse as title partner of the popular raceday parties.

Tickets for Newbury Racecourse’s Summer Evening Series presented in partnership with Hits Radio are available from just £18, with Under 18s going free. Newbury Racecourse’s biggest summer of music follows July’s Summer Evening Series with Grammy Award-winning Gipsy Kings, led by iconic frontman Nicolas Reyes, setting the scene on The AP&C Raceday (Friday 17 July). Up next is Boyzone legend turned solo superstar, Ronan Keating, performing live after racing on Weatherbys Super Sprint Day (Saturday 18 July).

For the second year running, back-to-back concerts will light up Visit Malta Hungerford Weekend with Brit Award‑winning rapper and cultural icon Tinie Tempah arriving on Friday 14 August, followed by multi‑platinum singer‑songwriter, Jessie J, taking to the stage live after racing on Saturday 15 August.
