World Pool Returns This Saturday For BOYLE Sports Lockinge Day
Newbury Racecourse’s flagship flat fixture returns this weekend in the form of BOYLE Sports Lockinge with Ladies Day, and following the success of last year, the full card – including the day’s Group 1 £400,000 feature – will once again be included in World Pool.
Created and powered by the Hong Kong Jockey Club in partnership with the UK Tote and global totes, World Pool combines betting from across the globe into a single pool. The result is a multi-million-pound betting experience.
In the UK and Ireland, World Pool is accessed via the Tote. Bets can be places on course, online at tote.co.uk (or tote.ie for Irish customers), via the Tote app, or through bookmakers – the majority of whom accept Tote bets both online and in shops.
Across the day, the Tote is also offering enhanced incentives for racegoers, with money back on every race if your horse finishes second, and money back for both second and third-place finishes across the final three races on the card.
Racegoers can choose from a wide range of World Pool betting options:
• Win – Pick the winner of the race
• Place – Select a horse to finish placed (Hong Kong terms apply)
• Exacta – Pick the first two finishers in the correct order
• Trifecta (Tierce) – Select the first three finishers in the correct order
• Quinella – Pick the first two finishers in either order
• Swinger (Quinella Place) – Pick two horses to finish in the top three, in any order
• Treble – Pick the winners of the last three races
This year’s renewal of the BOYLE Sports Lockinge Stakes sees a competitive field of 10 runners set to go to post, including last year’s runner-up Dancing Gemini, who returns in the hope of going one better this time around. Supporting the feature contest is a strong card of Group and Listed races, promising a thrilling afternoon of action on the track.
