Newbury Racecourse To Show FIFA World Cup Action During & After Racing
Newbury Racecourse is in the midst of its busy summer schedule and as racing ramps up so does the anticipation for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
And with World Cup matches falling across a number of racedays this summer, racegoers can enjoy all the action with the football showed both during and after racing.
Those looking to make the most of the summer’s sporting action can head to our dedicated World Cup Viewing Area, located in Filly’s.
Filly’s – and a number of screens across the Racecourse – will be showing matches on the following racedays:
Thursday 23rd June – June Evening Raceday
Portugal v Uzbekistan (6pm)
England v Ghana (9pm)
Thursday 2nd July – Summer Evening Series With The 70s Disco
Round of 32 (8pm)
Thursday 9th July – Summer Evening Series With The Wild Wild West
Quarter Final (9pm)
The Filly’s is fully equipped with a bar, seating, and large screens, ensuring you don’t miss a moment of the action.
The racedays on both Thursday 2nd July and Thursday 9th July feature our popular Summer Evening Series afterparties, with a live DJ performing into the evening from the Hits Radio Party Tent – creating the perfect atmosphere.
Alongside the raceday coverage in Filly’s, World Cup fixtures will also be shown live at our on-site hotel, The Lodge, meaning racegoers can stay close to the action throughout the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Tickets for Newbury’s summer racedays are available now from just £18.
