Newbury Racecourse & OLBG Go From Strength To Strength With Expanded Partnership

OLBG will take centre stage for a Jumps Racing Series and Newbury Racecourse’s Official Cheltenham Preview Evening in 2026

Newbury Racecourse and OLBG are pleased to confirm a significantly expanded partnership, one which sees the online betting community adopt Premium Partner status at the Racecourse for 2026.

As part of the expanded agreement, OLBG will continue its valued partnership of the OLBG Owners’ Club, alongside sponsorship of the prestigious Saturday ITV1 Spring Cup Handicap worth £100,000, which takes place on Dubai Duty Free Spring Trials Day in April.

The new Premium Partnership will also see OLBG sponsor a dedicated Jumps Racing Series across six fixtures in 2026, all broadcast on Sky Sports:

· 17 February 2026 – 2m4f – Class 4 – £15,000 – OLBG Novices’ Handicap Steeple Chase
· 27 February 2026 – 2m4f – Class 4 – £15,000 – OLBG Novices’ Handicap Steeple Chase
· 28 February 2026 – 2m – Class 2 – £16,500 – OLBG Mares’ Open National Hunt Flat Race
· 21 March 2026 – 3m – Class 3 – £21,000 – OLBG Handicap Steeple Chase
· 5 November 2026 – 2m – Class 3 – £17,500 – OLBG Conditional Jockeys’ Handicap Hurdle
· 16 December 2026 – 2m – Class 4 – £7,000 – OLBG Fillies’ Junior NHF

In addition, OLBG will be the headline partner for Newbury Racecourse’s Official Cheltenham Preview Evening on Thursday 5 March, a highlight of the pre-Festival calendar.

The partnership will also extend across Newbury Racecourse’s digital platforms, with OLBG featuring prominently on the Racecourse’s website providing engaging editorial content and behind-the-scenes insight for racegoers and online audiences.

Richard Moffat, Chief Executive of OLBG, commented: “It’s been a pleasure working with Newbury Racecourse over the past few years. Combining our partnership with local racehorse trainer Harry Derham and the OLBG Racing Club we created to support his yard, the relationship with Newbury and the OLBG Owners’ Club has been a natural extension of what we’re building. We’re excited to strengthen that partnership further by

becoming a Premium Partner. Encouraging more people to enjoy racing and helping more fans experience racehorse ownership are key aims for us, so this partnership is a great fit – and we look forward to working on more projects with Newbury in the future.”

Shaun Hinds, Chief Executive at Newbury Racecourse, commented: ’We’re thrilled to expand our successful partnership with OLBG and are excited for a big year in 2026. The Cheltenham Preview evening has become a firm favourite, with our Members especially, and it’s fantastic to now have that presented in partnership with OLBG. Richard and the OLBG team share our ambition of making racing and raceday experiences as engaging and accessible as possible and we look forward to continuing to work with the forward-thinking team at OLBG over the coming months and years.’’

All Newbury Racecourse Members can expect to receive an email invitation to attend the OLBG Cheltenham Preview Evening.
