Jamie Snowden talks about the Coral Gold Cup ahead of its return on Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd December 2023.
We caught up with local trainer Jamie Snowden on his thoughts of The Coral Gold Cup ahead of the historical meeting which returns in just a few days time.
Jamie Snowden, has been enjoying a very successful start to the campaign with the yard currently operating at a 31% strike rate.
He has two horses with entries in next weekend’s £250,000 feature race, the Coral Gold Cup.
Datsalrightgino will be stepping up in trip for the first time in the 3m2f contest, a move supported by regular jockey Gavin Sheehan. Unexposed over the longer distance, the last season novice could be an interesting contender if he stays the trip.
Ga Law provided the Snowden team with a fantastic day when winning the 2022 Paddy Power Gold Cup but fell on his following outing when going very well in the Sky Bet Chase.
The team have been on a retrieval mission ever since but he could return to Newbury next week having had a prep run over hurdles earlier in November.
