Exclusive Members’ Course Walk Returns Ahead Of Jumps Season

As the Racecourse gears up for the return of jumps action on Thursday 6th November, Members are invited to join an exclusive Course Walk

On Wednesday 5th November, Newbury Racecourse Members are invited to an exclusive behind-the-scenes Course Walk.

Hosted by the Racecourse’s Clerk of the Course, George Hill and multiple Grade 1-winning jockey Daryl Jacob, this Members-only event offers a unique opportunity to explore the Racecourse from a different perspective.

Members can look forward to a relaxed morning with pastries and refreshments, followed by a guided walk of the course. Those in attendance will gain insight into the final preparations that take place before a raceday and hear first-hand experiences from Daryl – including insight on his Coral Gold Cup win aboard Diamond Harry in 2010.

Taking place just one day before the season opener, Members have the opportunity to see the Racecourse in its final stages of preparation.

Last year’s Members’ Course Walk featured Richard Johnson, who shared highlights from his illustrious career – including his victories aboard fan favourite Native River.
