Is there a charge for the car park?
No, all car parking at Newbury Racecourse is complimentary for guests attending festivals, meetings, photo shoot days or any other event hosted on our grounds. At present we do not have electric vehicle charging points on site, but we are actively exploring plans to have them installed in the future as part of our wider sustainability commitments. We understand this matters to guests and production teams alike, and we want to make sure our established venue continues to suit the needs of all visitors.

Which car park should I use for my mid week or weekend event?
When you book a space for your event, your dedicated event manager will confirm the car park allocation that best suits your specific requirements. This could differ depending on whether you are hosting a summer festival, a corporate conference, a photo shoot, studios hire or an intimate celebration, so the team will tailor the arrangement to match.
Please follow the postcode RG14 5AW when arriving at the Racecourse. It is important to use this postcode rather than the one listed on our racing pages, as the alternative route leads to a council operated barrier that we are unable to open. Getting this right from the start helps create a smooth arrival for guests and production crews, no matter how large the event.
Can I bring my own caterer to a festival?
Our in-house catering team, supported by our range of on-site restaurants, can supply everything from mobile coffee outlets and food villages to complete sit-down dinners for large events. They are highly experienced in delivering a wide range of catering options that suit different types of gatherings, whether it is an intimate party or outdoor festivals welcoming crowds of thousands.
That said, if your event requires specialist catering that our team cannot accommodate, such as Asian weddings or other bespoke cuisine, approved external caterers are welcome.
