Will I need a swing badge?
If you have a Premier Enclosure ticket, you will need a swing badge.
If you’re a guest in The Hennessy Restaurant, 1905 Booths, Lounge 303, Premier Plus Lounge or in our Private Boxes you’ll also need a swing badge.
To collect your swing badge simply enter the Racecourse through the East Entrance. Our team will provide you with a swing badge when scanning your digital ticket or print-at-home ticket.
This swing badge will allow you to pass in and out of the Premier Enclosure throughout the day.
If you have a Grandstand Enclosure ticket you will not need a swing badge and will be required to the enter the Racecourse via North Entrance.
Are discounted tickets available for groups?
Yes, discounted tickets are available for groups of seven or more.
Groups of seven to 12 racegoers save 10%.
Groups of 13 to 29 racegoers save 15%.
Groups of 30 or more racegoers save 20%.
All of these savings are available on top of the discount for booking early – so the bigger group you bring and the earlier you book, the more you’ll save.
Discounted group tickets can be booked online – simply add the number of tickets you’d like to your basket and the discount will be automatically applied.
Newbury Racecourse is also part of Rewards4Racing which offers a further opportunity to save on tickets.

If you still can’t find your tickets on the raceday itself (before you’ve entered the Racecourse) please head to the Eastern Entrance and provide our team with your booking reference.
Are tickets available on the raceday itself?
Should the raceday not sell out tickets will be available to purchase online or on the gate from the point gates open.
However, to get the best deal we always recommend booking in advance.
I’d like to upgrade my tickets, is that possible?
Yes, it I possible to upgrade your tickets both in advance and on the day.
Grandstand Enclosure tickets can be upgraded to Premier Enclosure tickets.
Grandstand Enclosure and Premier Enclosure tickets can both be upgraded to hospitality.
To do so in advance, please contact us via info@newburyracecourse.co.uk or 01635 40015.
To do so on the day, please head to our East Entrance for more information.
I can no longer attend, can I get a refund for my tickets?
We’re sorry that you can no longer attend the raceday for which you booked tickets.
While we’re not able to provide a refund, we can exchange your ticket(s) for another raceday or credit them for future use, provided you notify us before the gates open on the day of the racing.

The raceday has been abandoned, can I get a refund for my tickets?
Yes, refunds will be given for any abandoned racedays.
You’ll also have the option to exchange your tickets to another raceday and this might prove better value than an exchange.
If a raceday is abandoned all lead ticket bookers will receive an email with instructions on how to refund or exchange.
How do I get the best deal on tickets?
There are a number of ways to save on tickets at Newbury Racecourse.
The best way to guarantee you get tickets at the lowest possible price is to buy them early – the earlier you book, the more you’ll save.
Discounts are also available for groups of seven or more with these discounts available on top of the discounts for buying early – so if you book a group early you’ll make the biggest saving.
You can also make a saving with a multi-day pass – the most popular of which is our Four Saturdays Pass, entitling admission to four big racedays.
Discounts are also available for those aged over 60 or those in full-time education courtesy of our Concession tickets. Again, the concessionary discount is available in addition to the discount for booking early, so book concession discounts to maximise your saving.

What is the difference between the Premier, Premier Plus and Grandstand Enclosure?
Racegoers at Newbury Racecourse can take their pick between two enclosures – Premier or Grandstand. Additionally, on select racedays, there is an upgraded experience available within the Premier Plus Enclosure, offering exclusive benefits to enhance your day at the races.
Newbury’s Premier Enclosure – which is open on all racedays – provides the best view of the racing action and grants ultimate access.
The Racecourse’s Grandstand Enclosure – which is open on weekend racedays and on selected Friday fixtures – offers the original raceday experience with tickets available for a lower price.
Premier Plus Enclosure – which is open for weekend racedays and the Friday of the Coral Gold Cup meeting in November – offers an exclusive, upgraded experience for those looking to make their race day even more special.

All you’ll need to gain access to the Racecourse is to scan the barcode available on either the e-ticket you received via email or the e-ticket you’ve accessed via the Raceday Ready app.
If you’ve chosen to print your e-ticket at home simply how the barcode on the print out.

How do I access my tickets on the Raceday Ready app?
You’ll just need to create an account in the Raceday Ready app using the same email address you used to purchase tickets via Newbury Racecourse’s ticketing website.
Upon selecting Newbury Racecourse under ‘Find A Course’ you will be able to view your e-tickets in the ‘e-ticket’ section.
What’s more, there’s a range of other functionality in the app, such as digital racecards and the option to scan your bet for extra insight and results.
Can I store my ticket in my Google/Apple wallet?
Yes, you can.
Simply open the email that contains your e-tickets and click ‘Add to Apple/Google Wallet’ and follow the on-screen instructions.
I’ve purchased a Premier Enclosure ticket – will I still receive a swing badge?

What time do gates open on a raceday?
Gates typically open two hours before the day’s first race.
For specific raceday timings please consult the individual raceday pages available via the fixture list page or by clicking here.
What time does racing normally start?
For our afternoon fixtures racing will typically start at between 12pm – 2pm.
Our afternoon fixtures will start earlier in winter (approx.12pm) and slightly later in summer (approx. 2pm).
For our evening fixtures racing will typically start at between 4pm – 5pm.

How long does the racing last?
We’ll typically host six or seven races on any raceday with the last race likely to finish around three and half a hours after the day’s first race.

If there’s music, entertainment or an afterparty after racing what time will it start?
We look to start any post-racing entertainment as soon as is safe to do so following the last race.
For our music racedays (in July and August) the concert will typically start around 30 minutes after the last race.
Any afterparties on other racedays will typically start around 10 minutes after the last race.
When does the Racecourse close on a raceday?
Different areas of the Racecourse close at slightly different times.
Bars accessible for those with General Admission tickets (non-hospitality) typically close before or at the end of the day’s last race, and we will ask our customers to drink up around half an hour after the last race is complete.
Our hospitality areas typically close an hour after the last race, however these times can vary slightly depending on other activity.

Yes, if you’d prefer to print the e-ticket you’ve received by email then you can.
How do I show my ticket when I arrive at the Racecourse?
All you’ll need to gain access to the Racecourse is to scan the barcode available on either the e-ticket you received via email or the e-ticket you’ve accessed via the Raceday Ready app.
If you’ve chosen to print your e-ticket at home simply how the barcode on the print out.

How do I access my tickets on the Raceday Ready app?
You’ll just need to create an account in the Raceday Ready app using the same email address you used to purchase tickets via Newbury Racecourse’s ticketing website.
Upon selecting Newbury Racecourse under ‘Find A Course’ you will be able to view your e-tickets in the ‘e-ticket’ section.
What’s more, there’s a range of other functionality in the app, such as digital racecards and the option to scan your bet for extra insight and results.
Can I store my ticket in my Google/Apple wallet?
Yes, you can.
Simply open the email that contains your e-tickets and click ‘Add to Apple/Google Wallet’ and follow the on-screen instructions.
I’ve purchased a Premier Enclosure ticket – will I still receive a swing badge?
Yes, if you have a Premier Enclosure ticket, you will need a swing badge.

We suggest downloading your tickets before you arrive on a raceday.

The Premier Enclosure is open on all racedays.
The Grandstand Enclosure is open on weekend racedays and selected Friday racedays. To see if the Grandstand Enclosure is open on the raceday your looking to attend please take a look at the individual raceday page available by clicking here.
How much are tickets in both enclosures?
The price of tickets depends on the raceday itself.
However, for racedays when both enclosures are open, tickets in the Grandstand will be lower priced than Premier Enclosure tickets.

Having priority access to tickets guarantees that you’ll be able to secure the lowest priced tickets.
Getting priority is simple – just sign up to our mailing list and you’ll be at the front of the queue whenever tickets are released.

When do group tickets go on-sale?
Tickets will typically go on sale in October/November for all of the following year’s racedays.
You can ensure you’re at the front of the queue for tickets – and guarantee yourself the lowest price – by joining our mailing list which you can do by clicking here.
Tickets for Newbury Racecourse’s music racedays – typically held in July and August – will usually go on sale a little later but by signing up to the Racecourse’s mailing list you’ll always be at the front of the queue.

If you haven’t received your group tickets, please check your junk folder or contact us via info@newburyracecourse.co.uk or 01635 019789 and we’ll be able to resend your tickets for you.
Should I purchase group tickets from resale sites or touts?
We can only confirm the authenticity of tickets sold via newburyracecourse.co.uk or over the phone on 01635 40015.
As such, we recommend you do not purchase tickets from any other channels or touts.
Are group tickets available on the raceday itself?
Should the raceday not sell out tickets will be available to purchase online or on the gate from the point gates open.
However, to get the best deal we always recommend booking in advance.
Where can I purchase group tickets on the day?
If you’re looking to purchase tickets on the day we suggest you do so online or on the gate at The East Entrance from the point gates open.
Please be aware, ticket touts may be operating near the Racecourse and as we can’t confirm the validity of these tickets we strongly recommend you only purchase tickets from our authorised sellers within the Eastern Entrance.
I’d like to upgrade my group tickets, is that possible?
Yes, it I possible to upgrade your tickets both in advance and on the day.
Grandstand Enclosure tickets can be upgraded to Premier Enclosure tickets.
Grandstand Enclosure and Premier Enclosure tickets can both be upgraded to hospitality.

I can no longer attend, can I get a refund for my group tickets?
We’re sorry that you can no longer attend the raceday for which you booked tickets.
While we’re not able to provide a refund, we can exchange your ticket(s) for another raceday or credit them for future use, provided you notify us before the gates open on the day of the racing.
To arrange this, please contact our ticketing team via info@newburyracecourse.co.uk or call 01635 40015.
The raceday has been abandoned, can I get a refund for my group tickets?
Yes, refunds will be given for any abandoned racedays.
You’ll also have the option to exchange your tickets to another raceday and this might prove better value than an exchange.
If a raceday is abandoned all lead ticket bookers will receive an email with instructions on how to refund or exchange.
Are discounted tickets available for groups?
Yes, discounted tickets are available for groups of seven or more.
Groups of seven to 12 racegoers save 10%.
Groups of 13 to 29 racegoers save 15%.
Groups of 30 or more racegoers save 20%.
All of these savings are available on top of the discount for booking early – so the bigger group you bring and the earlier you book, the more you’ll save.
Discounted group tickets can be booked online – simply add the number of tickets you’d like to your basket and the discount will be automatically applied.
