What’s On

While the racing action takes centre stage, there is plenty for racegoers to enjoy away from the track during Dubai Duty Free International Weekend at Newbury Racecourse.
Visitors can try their luck with the popular Spin & Win experience, located in the Grandstand Enclosure. Courtesy of Dubai Duty Free, racegoers will have the chance to spin the wheel and win a range of fantastic prizes throughout the weekend.
On Saturday, guests can also meet Maherlvous, Newbury Racecourse’s equine ambassador. Visiting courtesy of Greatwood Charity, the retired racehorse will be on hand to meet racegoers and offer a fascinating insight into life after racing.
As the day’s racing comes to a close, the entertainment continues with the Pump Technology Sunset Sessions. A live DJ will take to The Party Tent following the final race, helping racegoers keep the weekend atmosphere going long into the evening.
For those looking to get even closer to the action, the ever-popular Trips to the Start provide a unique behind-the-scenes experience. Racegoers can accompany staff to the start and watch the horses up close as they load into the stalls before racing begins. Times for each trip will be displayed outside the jockeys’ weighing room.
With exciting racing, exclusive experiences and entertainment throughout the weekend, Dubai Duty Free International Weekend offers something for every visitor to enjoy.
