14% Year-On-Year Attendance Increase On Lockinge Day

Newbury Racecourse are pleased to announce that Saturday's Al Shaqab Lockinge with Ladies Day attendance had increased by 14%.

The Al Shaqab Lockinge with Ladies Day attracted a crowd of 9,632.

 

Mark Leigh, interim Chief Executive of Newbury Racecourse expressed his satisfaction on Saturday’s attendance:

“The Al Shaqab Lockinge Day is the highlight of our summer Flat season at Newbury and this year’s edition didn’t disappoint. There was a fantastic atmosphere on course with additional activations and entertainment to recognise the expansion of our partnership with WorldPool while the race itself saw a surprise winner in Audience. We always endeavour to deliver a raceday experience of the highest quality and we’re pleased a significantly increased number of racegoers were able to enjoy the day with us.”
