Newbury’s Summer Evening Series Returns For 2024

The popular raceday parties – all featuring live music and an afterparty – return this July with brand new themes as the Racecourse announces an exciting new partnership with Hits Radio.

After a popular debut in 2023, Newbury Racecourse’s Summer Evening Series is returning this July with three raceday parties presented in partnership with Hits Radio.

Racegoers can look forward to evening racing, live music, festival-style food and drink and a DJ afterparty at each of the raceday parties and for the first time in 2024, Newbury Racecourse’s Summer Evening Series will be supported by Hits Radio courtesy of an exciting new partnership.

Hits Radio features a soundtrack of the biggest hits of the day alongside treasured throwbacks from the last 20 years and the series which carries their name gets underway at Newbury Racecourse on Thursday 4^th July with ‘The Garden Party’.

The series’ opening night promises classic British garden party vibes with over 30 gins on offer. The series then returns a week later with ‘The Wild Wild West’ on Thursday 11^th July which brings with it all things pop country – expect bourbon, hay bales and live pop country music – before an afterparty with the award-winning DJ, Rattlesnake Johnny. The Racecourse will then be transported to the white isle on Thursday 25^th July as the Summer Evening Series rounds out with ‘The Beach Club’, an Ibiza-themed evening complete with cocktails, beach décor and an afterparty to rival the Balearic Island itself.

Tickets for Newbury Racecourse’s Summer Evening Series presented in partnership with Hits Radio are available from just £19 while Under 18s go free. Newbury’s Summer Evening Series Pass – which entitles admission to all three raceday parties – offers the best value and these are available for just £39 until 11:59pm on Thursday 6^th June.

The three raceday parties kick off a summer of music at Newbury Racecourse. The award-winning DJ and super-producer, Sigala, makes his debut on Newbury’s famous Party In The Paddock stage after racing on Weatherbys Super Sprint Day on Saturday 20^th July before Dizzee Rascal, one of the most successful rappers of all time, takes to the stage after BetVictor Hungerford Day on Saturday 17^th August.
