Local Farming Community Head To Newbury Racecourse To Celebrate Countryside At The BetVictor Jumps Season Finale
On Saturday 21 March, Newbury Racecourse will welcome local farmers and countryside supporters for a day that recognises and celebrates the agricultural community.
The raceday provides an opportunity for those connected to rural life to come together and show their support for the people and businesses at the heart of the countryside and follows a similar celebration proving popular at the Racecourse last spring.
The celebration will help highlight the essential role farmers play in supporting local communities, food production and the wider landscape and alongside an exciting seven-race card, the day will feature a display of tractors parading along the Racecourse.
Racegoers will be invited to the centre of the course to meet members of the farming community and see a range of both new and vintage models up close. The afternoon’s racing will conclude with an afterparty and live DJ, rounding off the day in style.
Dan Willis, local farmer and event co-ordinator, commented: “This is another fantastic opportunity for us to come together and show how much the countryside means. The family-friendly event, offers the chance to connect with those passionate about the rural way of life and we encourage everyone to come and show support.”
Shaun Hinds, Chief Executive Officer at Newbury Racecourse, commented: “Following 2025’s popular and successful countryside celebration we’re pleased to be able to do the same this year. We strive to support and showcase the local community and Saturday’s raceday is an opportunity for all racegoers to celebrate and engage with our local rural community and their activities.’’
