Two Free Holidays Up For Grabs At Newbury Racecourse On Visit Malta Hungerford Weekend

To celebrate their expanded partnership, Newbury Racecourse and Visit Malta are once again offering racegoers the chance to win big. Two lucky attendees at Visit Malta Hungerford Weekend – one on Friday and one on Saturday – will win a dream holiday to Malta, including flights and luxury accommodation.

Following a successful first year, which saw Visit Malta become the title sponsor of the Racecourse’s Hungerford Day, Visit Malta has now taken naming rights for the two-day meeting on Friday 14 and Saturday 15 August. The weekend’s highlight will be the Group 2 Visit Malta Hungerford Stakes, a prestigious seven-furlong contest offering a prize fund of £165,000.

What’s more, both the Friday and Saturday of the Visit Malta Hungerford Weekend double up as Party in the Paddock music racedays with back-to-back concerts lighting up the Racecourse for the second year running. Brit Award‑winning rapper and cultural icon Tinie Tempah arrives on Friday 14 August, followed by multi‑platinum singer‑songwriter, Jessie J, taking to the stage live after racing on Saturday 15 August.

Racegoers attending Visit Malta Hungerford Weekend will have the exclusive chance to win one of two incredible prizes on each day, courtesy of Visit Malta.

First Prize: A luxury two-night holiday for two to Malta, including return flights from London Gatwick or London Heathrow, four-star bed & breakfast accommodation, and airport transfers from Malta International Airport
Second Prize: A Manchester United shirt signed by Luke Shaw

Entry into the prize draw is simple – attendees will automatically receive an entry into the giveaway by doing any one of the following:

1. Purchasing a raceday or hospitality ticket
2. Accessing the Racecourse using a valid Membership Card
3. Connecting to Newbury Racecourse’s free Wi-Fi
4. Spinning the Visit Malta prize wheel at the Racecourse
5. Visiting the Visit Malta chillout zone at the Racecourse and registering with Visit Malta’s activation team

Each person can have multiple entries, with one entry granted for each of the above actions. Entries will close at 5pm on Friday 14 August and 4pm on Saturday 15 August with winners announced shortly after. Each winner will be announced by name at the Racecourse and receive an email detailing how to claim their prize.

Newbury’s racedays are proving hugely popular in 2026 with more than 50,000 fans set to enjoy the racing and entertainment in July and Augusta alone.
