Emma Lavelle – International Women’s Day

This International Women's Day we look back at Emma Lavelle as she won the Ladbrokes Long Distance Hurdle and the Coral Gold Cup

The 2019 Coral Gold Cup weekend was dominated by Emma Lavelle. She trained the winners of both feature races – the Ladbrokes Long Distance Hurdle and the Ladbrokes Trophy (now known as the Coral Gold Cup.)

Fan favourite Paisley Park stormed to victory in the Long Distance Hurdle on Friday before the ever-brave De Rasher Counter landed the Gold Cup spoils on Saturday.

“If Carlsberg did weekends, this is what it would be like!”
