The Lodge, Newbury Racecourse’s very own onsite hotel, offers a relaxed ambiance just a stone’s throw from our conference and event spaces.

The Lodge offers 36 excellent rooms, great service and the relaxed ambiance you would expect of a modern boutique hotel. The hotel’s individually designed rooms and public spaces mirror the charm and heritage of the renowned racing estate at which it sits at the heart.

Guests can unwind at our vibrant bar and kitchen, where delicious selection of food and refreshing drinks await. Perfectly situated for event organisers and delegates, The Lodge provides free parking and easy access to Newbury train station, making it an ideal spot to complete a day well spent.

The Retreat Elcot Park is a Grade II listed 18th-century hotel located between Hungerford and Newbury and just 15 minutes from the Racecourse.

The Retreat is home to 55 individually-bedrooms and suites within 16 acres of magnificent grounds to match.

Food & beverage has pride of place, there is a pan-Asian restaurant, Brasserie, Whisky Library and Orangery of which some spaces can be booked privately.

The Retreat also boasts The Signet Spa, inclusive of a hydrotherapy pool, treatment rooms, relaxation room, aroma steam room, Himalayan salt sauna, Matrix gym and exercise studio.

Moving outdoors, within the hotel grounds there are the ruins of a 200-year-old walled kitchen garden, tennis court, a heated outdoor infinity pool, croquet lawn and a children’s play area. The hotel is also home to ‘The Courtyard’, a mixed-use retail space consisting of The Stores, wine cellar and hair & nail salon.

Yes, there’s a good chance we’ll be able to accommodate an event on a raceday.

Our hospitality team tend to oversee events on racedays and they can be contacted via hospitality@newburyracecourse.co.uk.

Yes, we have extensive on-site parking and this is all complimentary.

As it stands we don’t but we are looking to have charging points installed in the future.

Typically our in-house catering team will provide catering for any event hosted at the Racecourse.

That said, if an event requires catering of a nature our in-house team aren’t able to provide then external caterers would be welcomed.
