BIG CROWD ENJOY WEATHERBYS SUPER SPRINT DAY WITH SIGALA

Newbury’s music racedays returned for 2024 in style as the Racecourse welcomed a big crowd for Weatherbys Super Sprint Day with Sigala today. Over 10,000 racing and music fans enjoyed the day’s action, the Racecourse’s highest attendance of the year to date.

Caburn starred in the day’s feature race, taking the £250,000 Weatherbys Super Sprint for Jack Jones Racing with Dylan Hogan on board. Elite Status impressed in the Fidelity Energy Hackwood Stakes for Karl Burke as racegoers were treated to a thrilling afternoon of racing.

Shaun Hinds, Chief Executive of Newbury Racecourse commented: “It was great to welcome such a big crowd to the Racecourse for Weatherbys Super Sprint. Racing and music fans turned out in their thousands and were treated to a memorable afternoon and evening’s entertainment. We’re excited for the arrival of our next big Saturday meeting – BetVictor Hungerford Day with Dizzee Rascal on Saturday 17^th August – and welcoming yet more racegoers throughout the remainder of 2024.

Early Bird tickets have sold out for BetVictor Hungerford Day with Dizzee Rascal but discounted tickets still remain, with the Advance Saver discount available until Friday 26^th July with hospitality packages also available.
