GOING UPDATE

Badges – Owners, or their representatives, can request in advance up to 6 owners’ badges or 10 for dual owners or syndicates. Please register via the PASS system no later than 16:00 the day before racing at www.rcapass.com.  If you do not have access to the PASS System or need any assistance in how to use, please contact the PASS Helpdesk on 01933 270333 or [email protected]. Advance booking via the PASS System will enable us to ensure appropriate facilities and arrangements are in place to support your Raceday Experience. However, badges may be collected on the day if not booked in advance. Arrangements for advance bookings and/or on the day badge collection can only be made by the owner. Bookings will not be accepted by third parties on their behalf.

Larger Syndicates – For syndicates requiring more than 10 badges, please call Claire Ricketts (07768982626) to discuss how we can help here at Newbury as there are various options we can offer.

Parking – Reserved parking is provided for Owners & Trainers in Car Park 2, please follow directional signage and stewards on the day.  For sat nav the postcode is RG14 7NZ. No car park pass is required.  We have some accessible parking for blue badge holders in Car Park 2 & advise calling in advance to reserve a space.

Facilities – Owners and trainers will have access to the OLBG Owners Club, with a dedicated bar, restaurant and outside terrace. You also have reserved space on the trackside steppings of both the Berkshire and Hampshire Stands to view your race. Access to the Pre-parade, Parade rings and Winners Enclosure is available for owners with runners.

Restaurant Booking – We offer up to 6 complimentary dining vouchers per horse to enjoy a two course lunch from our raceday buffet in our dedicated restaurant in the OLBG Owners Club. Although not essential, we encourage you to book a table in advance should you wish to eat at a specific time by contacting Claire Ricketts via [email protected] or by calling on 07768 982626. We will just require your name, the name of your horse, the number of guests and the time you would like the table. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee the table for the day. We do not take bookings on the day and would advise that you to speak to a member of our lovely restaurant team, on your arrival so the can book you in. Should you not turn up for your booking at the time you requested, we may have to let the table go. There will, however, be a grace period of 15 minutes after which the table will be released.

Please do notify us in advance of any dietary requirements or allergens. Complimentary tea & coffee is available all day. Alcoholic and soft beverages are available for purchase.

Children’s Menu – We don’t have a specific children’s menu but, as we offer a buffet, there is always a good selection of food to choose from. However, if there is nothing on the buffet that is suitable, we can always source a meal from our different outlets on site. Please speak to one of the team.

Racecards – Complimentary racecards will be provided for Owners on arrival.

Winning & Placed Connections – A winning memento has kindly been provided for every race, and there will be formal presentations from the Winners Enclosure. Connections of the winning horse will be welcomed into the Winner’s Enclosure for their horse’s return and invited to watch a race replay and enjoy a celebratory glass of champagne in the Royal Box. Placed connections, numbers allowing, will be invited to our dedicated room to also enjoy a glass of champagne or offered a voucher for a drink to redeem at the bar in the OLBG Owners Club.

For trophy collections on a raceday, please alert a member of racecourse staff before the last race and we will be able to advise you of our procedure for perpetual trophies, nevertheless please feel free to contact Sponsorship Manager, Lara Johnston on 01635 40015 for any queries regarding trophies.

For those unable to attend, you will be able to watch the entire meeting live on Sky Sports Racing (Ch 415), and a replay of your race will be available to access online within minutes of the finish at www.attheraces.com.  If your horse wins and you are not with us on the day, we will pass your winning memento details to your trainer.
