Bag Search
Newbury Racecourse reserves the right to search bags for security reasons for prohibited items such as food/picnics drinks/alcohol, bottles, glasses, folding chairs, pets and laptops. No food or drink may be brought into the Racecourse except for manufacturer sealed bottles of water 500ml or less.

Zero Tolerance
We reserve the right to refuse entry and/or eject customers from the racecourse in reasonable circumstances, including without limitation, for health and safety or licensing reasons if they behave in a manner which has or is likely to affect the enjoyment of other persons at the racecourse.

Challenge 25
Please visit our wristband exchange in the Berkshire Stand/Grandstand with your valid passport, photo driving licence or Pass card.  Service of alcohol will be refused to 18-25s without a wristband.

Licensing Act
Newbury Racecourse is a licensed premises to sell or supply alcohol and provide regulated entertainment or late night refreshment. Please act responsibly. When leaving the premises customer are requested to respect the local residents by leaving quietly. Thank you.

Betting
Laying Bets is subject to Terms and Conditions of the Racecourse. You must be 18 or over to place a bet and proof of age may be required. If you cannot do this your bet will not be accepted.

Photography
Official Photographers & film crews will be taking crowd shots for use in our promotional &marketing material, please make us aware at the racecourse office if you do not wish for your photo to be taken.
Photography is permitted for personal enjoyment but flash photography is not permitted at anytime as this may cause disruption to horses and jockeys.

Live image Streaming & Laptop Computers
It is forbidden to stream live images to third parties off site and offenders will be barred from Newbury Racecourse in the future. Excluding authorised persons, the use of laptops on the racecourse is not permitted.

Ticketing
Ticket touts and counterfeit ticketing may be operating in this area. Only official Newbury Racecourse tickets will guarantee admittance to the Racecourse. Trading, advertising, leafleting, and other commercial activities are strictly prohibited.

All persons admitted to the Racecourse are strictly subject to abide by the terms and conditions in force. The Racecourse has the right to refuse admission or expel an Attendee where an Attendee has breached or is likely to breach the terms and conditions of entry.

Abandonment
In the event of racing being abandoned refunds on tickets purchased will only be paid in the following circumstances:

• Abandonment before completion of the first race – full refund
• Abandonment before completion of the third race – 50% refund
• Abandonment thereafter – no refund

There will be NO refunds granted on the day and NO refunds on racecards.
