Getting Here & Travel

Newbury Racecourse has its own train station, which is just one stop from Newbury Station with regular connections from major stations across the region.

Once arriving at Newbury Racecourse station it’s simply a case of making the short walk (1-2 minutes) to the Racecourse.

Unfortunately, due to rail works there will be no trains running between Reading and Westbury on Sunday.

The Racecourse is also easily accessible by road, with free on-site parking and we ask that racegoers follow the brown attraction or yellow traffic management signs for the Racecourse.

Those travelling by road from the east, west and north via the M4 should enter site via Hambridge Road (nearest postcode RG14 7PN) and those travelling from the south via the A339 should enter the course via Racecourse Road (nearest postcode RG14 7GL).

If travelling by road, please follow traffic marshal directions when arriving, who will be on hand to direct you to the appropriate car parks.
