Speaking of Newbury’s environmental aspirations, Johnston added, “Given the size and constant use of the facilities provided here at the racecourse, we are committed to ensuring that we have up to date waste reduction methods and energy saving processes in place. As well as many other sustainability focused initiatives due to be implemented over the coming year, we are pleased to be critically analysing our energy usage as a priority”.
