In fact, Matt was the first person to purchase tickets to the raceday, guaranteeing himself the best possible deal.

And nine months on from his purchase Matt got the chance to meet Olly Murs when the star arrived for BetVictor Hungerford Day on Saturday 19 August 2023.

Matt, who along with his girlfriend, met Olly, said: ‘’I was so surprised – for Newbury to get in touch out of the blue and offer the opportunity to meet Olly Murs, just because I was the first person to buy tickets when they went on sale was such a great gesture.’’
