Newbury Racecourse Mark Members’ 60th Wedding Anniversary

Two longstanding Newbury Members were surprised with a gift in the Parade Ring at BetVictor’s January racing to mark their 60^th wedding anniversary.

Everyone loves a feel-good story, and this one is no different!

Mr and Mrs Randall are avid racing enthusiasts and have loyally been Members’ at Newbury for 18 years.

In honour of their Diamond Wedding Anniversary marking 60 years of marriage, Newbury were able to surprise them with the opportunity to come into the Parade Ring and receive a gift on BetVictor January Raceday to mark the special occasion.

When asked about the key to a long and happy marriage, the couple answered:

“Arguing and making up. You can’t go through life without arguments can you?!
We are sure that a shared hobby in racing also helps!
Here’s to many more happy years.”
