Saturday, July 18, is set to be a day of thrilling racing and great live music in 2015 as two of the most popular performers on the dance music scene currently, DJ Fresh and Danny Howard, have been confirmed to perform after racing.

A seven-race card of high quality Flat racing will precede the music, with the highlight being the £250,000 Weatherbys Super Sprint, won last year by champion two-year-old filly Tiggy Wiggy and just part of an afternoon of top class racing.

Music fans will also have something to look forward to with the appearance of two performers at the top of their game.

Danny Howard is one of the most high profile DJs in the UK, and his weekly Dance Anthems show on Radio1 gets 1.8 million listeners a week.

Danny Howard said: “I heard great things last year from Annie Mac and Pete Tong about the shows at Newbury Racecourse, so I’m very much looking forward to being a part of the party this year and seeing what all the fuss is about!”

DJ Fresh is a legend of the dance music scene. A founder member of the drum and bass supergroup Bad Company, DJ Fresh has moved with the times to become a recording artist in his own right with over two million record sales. He also has two number one singles, including 2012 Brit award nominated ‘Hot Right Now’ featuring Rita Ora, the UK’s first ever drum and bass No. 1.
