Twenty one of the 32 entries remain in the Group 1 JLT Lockinge Stakes following today’s (Tuesday) forfeit stage.  Notable among them are horses who have already made their seasonal debuts this month including Richard Hannon’s Trumpet Major who won the Group 2 bet365 mile at Sandown on Friday, ahead of fellow Lockinge entries Chil the Kite and Trumpet Major.

Aidan O’Brien remains strong handed with 4 entries still in the race including Epsom Derby winner Camelot and Declaration of War, who scored easily in his seasonal debut at Leopardstown on April 14.

The international flavour of the race remains with entries from France and Germany whilst Godolphin have kept Farhh in the race who recently finished a close 4^th in the Group 1 Audemars Piguet QEII Cup in Hong Kong.
