Al Shaqab Lockinge Day with Ladies Day
Our Group 1 showpiece, the Al Shaqab Lockinge with Ladies Day returns for 2023, and what a day we have in store for everyone!
In 2022 we celebrated the Jubilee year, as well as it being all around our leading ladies, with a Panel of Pioneers, signature style awards, Dani Jackson our female charity race commentator and an epic afterparty with Lovely Laura and DJ Ben Santiago. Let’s not forgot the legend that is Baaeed winning the feature race the Al Shaqab Lockinge Stakes.
This year you can expect an exciting day of on and off track action! Live music throughout the afternoon, hair and beauty refreshes in the Sequoia Beauty tent, Ouzbeck our retired racehorse will be on site to meet you on arrival plus an afterparty you won’t want to miss with Lovely Laura and DJ Ben Santiago, back again by popular demand live after racing!
After Party due to start at approximately 5.30pm.
We will be operating both Premier and Grandstand Enclosures on this day.
Introducing World Pool to Newbury
Newbury are proud to announce that the BetVictor London Gold Cup and Al Shaqab Lockinge Stakes are the two races on this day now included in World Pool.
What is World Pool
World Pool is a collaboration of Totes from across the globe, creating huge liquidity for racing fans to bet into and a new revenue stream for the sport. With 18 World Pool days in the UK and Ireland to look forward to this summer.
