Newbury’s Christmas Crackers | The Best of 2023
Relive eight great moments at Newbury Racecourse from 2023
We have enjoyed some incredible racing entertainment this year, with everything from Group 1 glory to our winter showpiece, the Coral Gold Cup. We have welcomed back Tom Jones and Olly Murs who brought our biggest crowds since pre-covid, and introduced new initiatives such as our Community Raceday and Summer Evening Series, bringing in both repeat racegoers and newbies! This year’s flat season proved to be a successful one, with many Group 1 horses racing taking to our track on their way to glory. Now the Jumps have returned and are in full swing, we look forward to welcoming racegoers, owners, trainers, jockeys, grooms and horses back to another thrilling National Hunt season
Below are some of our highlights of the year, make sure you check back each day for a new addition!

Back in March, this name took top spot again as Christian Horner and Geri Halliwell brought their point to pointer, Lift Me Up, to Newbury for his first race under rules
