Newbury Racecourse is in the midst of a busy summer schedule with the brand-new Summer Evening Series concluding yesterday evening. Three raceday parties – The Gin Garden (Thu 6th July), The Rum Shack (Thu 13th July) and The Cocktail Club (Thu 27th July) – landed at Newbury in July as part of the new series, while the Racecourse’s famous Party in the Paddock music race days returned last weekend with Sir Tom Jones taking to the stage after Weatherbys Super Sprint Day. Despite last Saturday’s rain, just under 19,000 music and racing fans descended on Newbury as the Racecourse welcomed its biggest crowd since 2019 and the summer of fun continues with BetVictor Hungerford Day on Saturday 19th August, a day which will see Olly Murs perform live after racing.

The action doesn’t stop once summer has passed with details unveiled for September’s Dubai Duty Free International Weekend and October’s BetVictor Flat Finale with Oktoberfest.

The Dubai Duty Free International Weekend – featuring the Listed Dubai Duty Free Cup, Group 3 Dubai International Airport World Trophy Stakes and Group 2 The Dubai Duty Free Mill Reef Stakes – returns on Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd September.  Top class racing is guaranteed on the track and there’s a whole host of entertainment to look forward to off the track too. Activities will include behind the scenes tours offering fascinating insight and exclusive access to unseen areas of Newbury Racecourse, live music, plus an opportunity to sample Arabic delicacies and win superb prizes at the Dubai Duty Free Marquee.

Newbury’s flat season concludes courtesy of the BetVictor Flat Finale with Oktoberfest on Friday 27th and Saturday 28th October, with two feature Group 3 races, the BetVictor Horris Hill Stakes and the BetVictor St Simon Stakes as well as The Highclere Thoroughbred Racing Radley Stakes (Listed Race). Newbury Racecourse will transform into a traditional Bavarian party complete with Bierkeller, steins, themed food including bratwurst and pretzels and oompah bands providing entertainment with racegoers welcome to attend in their finest lederhosens.
