Newbury’s Summer Evening Series With Hits Radio Is Back For 2025

Newbury Racecourse’s popular Summer Evening Series is returning this July with three Thursday evening raceday parties presented in partnership with Hits Radio.
Racegoers can look forward to evening racing, live music, festival-style food and drink and a DJ afterparty at each of the raceday parties as the Racecourse’s Summer Evening Series returns, supported by Hits Radio.
Hits Radio features a soundtrack of the biggest hits of the day alongside treasured throwbacks and the series which carries their name gets underway at Newbury Racecourse on Thursday 3rd July with ‘The 70s Disco’.
The series’ opening night promises classic 1970s vibes, take yourself back in time with all the definitive disco hits before ‘The Wild Wild West’ arrives on Thursday 10th July and brings with it all things country – expect bourbon, hay bales and live country music – before an afterparty with the award-winning country DJ, Rattlesnake Johnny. The Racecourse will then be transported to the white isle on Thursday 24th July as the Summer Evening Series rounds out with ‘The Beach Club’, an Ibiza-themed evening complete with cocktails, beach décor and an afterparty to rival the Balearic Island itself.

Tickets for Newbury Racecourse’s Summer Evening Series presented in partnership with Hits Radio are available from just £17 while Under 18s go free. Newbury’s Summer Evening Series Pass – which entitles admission to all three raceday parties – offers the best value and these are available for just £39 until 11:59pm on Thursday 5th June.
Newbury Racecourse’s biggest ever summer of music follows July’s Summer Evening Series with a double-header from BRIT-award nominated artists Sophie Ellis-Bextor & Ella Henderson arriving live after racing on Weatherbys Super Sprint Day (Saturday 19th July).
In a Racecourse first, back-to-back concerts will light up one spectacular August weekend with Björn Again performing ABBA’s greatest hits on Friday 15th August, followed by electronic chart icons Clean Bandit taking to the stage live after racing on Saturday 16th August.
Troubadour James Bay closes the bumper summer of music on Dubai Duty Free International Weekend (Saturday 20th September), with a show marking the 10th anniversary of his multi-million selling debut album, ‘Chaos and The Calm’.
