Newbury Racecourse Announce Pump Technology As A New Sponsor

Pump Technology announced as a new sponsor, supporting a series of races throughout the exciting flat season at Newbury Racecourse

Newbury Racecourse is pleased to announce Pump Technology as an official sponsor of Newbury Racecourse. Pump Technology, a UK leader in the specification and supply of wastewater, sewage pumps and pumping systems, have been supporters of Newbury Racecourse since 2022.

As part of the new sponsorship agreement, the locally based firm will sponsor nine individual races across the summer Flat turf season. Pump Technology will have the naming rights to a variety of Handicap, Novice and Maiden Fillies Stakes races, all aired on Sky Sports Racing. The series of sponsored races will commence on Thursday, June 12 with the Pump Technology Handicap Stakes, with the last of their nine scheduled races taking place on Saturday, September 20, the Pump Technology Handicap Stakes.

In addition to their sponsored races, Pump Technology also have the naming rights to six of Newbury’s official after racing parties as part of a three-year agreement until 2027.

We are very much looking forward to our series of sponsored races this summer and many more enjoyable days racing at Newbury Racecourse.”

2025 is set to be Newbury’s biggest ever year of music, with the Racecourse hosting four music racedays this summer. Pop icons Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Ella Henderson will perform live after racing on Saturday 19th July (Weatherbys Super Sprint Day), before Bjorn Again visit on Friday 15th August and Clean Bandit take to the stage on Saturday 16th August (Hungerford Day). BRIT-award winner James Bay rounds off the huge summer of music, performing live after racing on Saturday 20th September (Dubai Duty Free International Weekend).
