Following the conclusion of the 2016 Flat Season, the final standings for the 2016 Conundrum HR Champion Apprentice Awards can be found below. Newbury Racecourse teamed up with Conundrum Consulting, our HR business partner, to recognise the hard work and dedication of apprentice jockeys and support them throughout the 2016 Flat season.

Conundrum Consulting sponsored the award, launched in 2015, for the apprentice who rides the most winners during the 2016 Flat season at Newbury. Eddie Greatrex (centre) took the 2016 award and a cheque for £1,000 having ridden 4 winners, collecting his award from Conundrum HR Managing Director and Founder Hugh Nickerson (right) and renowned sculptor Mark Coreth (left), responsible for the statue of Frankel on display at York, Ascot and Newmarket.  Conundrum HR also made a £250 donation to the Injured Jockeys Fund.
