      The Royal Box is the perfect place for celebrating those special occasions or adding distinction to any business meeting or conference.

      This flexible and stylish private space has the advantage of being completely self contained, comprising of entrance hall with a grand staircase leading to two main rooms.

      The Moet and  Chandon Champagne Hall is stylish, light and is an open space with chic decor and splashes of gold. It is s perfect setting for tea and coffee before a conference or meeting, or socialising with a glass of champagne afterwards.

      The Hennessy Suite is located on the 2nd floor in The Hampshire Stand and is one of the country’s finest racecourse restaurants that can easily be adapted into a high-tech presentation room for up to 300 delegates.

      With three glass walls, this outstanding space provides spectacular view of the beautiful Berkshire countryside. The Hennessy offers an outstanding venue whether it is for team building, a meeting or a dining experience.

      Delegates can finish the day with networking in this new intimate space; A cosy room with authentic Hennessy cognac vintage prints graphics, sophisticated and smart furnishings and paintwork, as well as its own wine cellar located behind its spectacular wrought iron gates, the cellar is sure to be the place to relax and reflect on the events of the day.

      The Concourse on the ground floor of the Berkshire Stand can be used as a venue for small exhibitions or product launches.

      With almost 510m sq of event space, the concourse is ideal for smaller exhibitions, clothing sales, product launches and more. Please call the event team for further information on what the Concourse can offer.

      The first floor features the Long Room and Paddock View used for dining, refreshment breaks or smaller exhibitions, both with stunning views over the racecourse and parade ring.

    • Fred Winter & Mandarin Suites Up to 90

      Fred Winter & Mandarin Suites

      The Fred Winter is located on the second floor in the Berkshire Stand offers space for up to 90 delegates.

      The Fred Winter can be split into two rooms and will seat up to 80. The Mandarin could then be used as a smaller break out room or as the catering area.

      The Fred Winter has natural day light and stunning views over the racecourse, with access to its own private balcony.

      The Berkshire Stand is home to our 42 syndicate rooms, all of which open in varying combinations to suit your numbers and style of meeting.

    • The Grandstand Ground Floor Up to 1000

      The Grandstand Ground Floor

      The ground floor is pillar free and has over 1,000m² of floor space with a ceiling height of over 5 metres.

      The area is a blank canvas for any event but ideal for exhibitions or large conferences with a capacity of up to 1000 delegates theatre style and access for vehicles. On many occasions, the ground floor has been used to host indoor teambuilding activities, coupled with a conference seating area on the 2nd floor.

    • The Grandstand First Floor

      The Grandstand First Floor

      The Dubai Duty Free Grandstand first floor is glass sided on three sides and has stunning views across the racecourse.

      It is ideal for use as the catering area for larger meetings on the Ground or second Floor and can be directly accessed from the car park in front of the Grandstand, making it suitable for the registration of delegates on arrival.

    • The Grandstand Second Floor Up to 550

      The Grandstand Second Floor

      The 2nd floor of the Dubai Duty Free Grandstand offers 870m2 of pillar free conference, dining or exhibition space for up to 550 delegates.

      It has full grey-out blinds, 3 phase power and allows access to balconies to enjoy the superb views over the racecourse and Berkshire countryside.

  • The Royal Box

    The Royal Box is the perfect place for celebrating those special occasions and will add distinction to any business meeting.

    A completely self contained private space comprising of entrance hall with a grand staircase leading to two main rooms,  it offers everything that you require to make your meeting a success.

New bridge now open on racedays

Arrival on racedays

You may well be aware that we are currently undertaking a significant investment programme here at Newbury.  There is now a new road bridge over the railway line at the eastern end of the racecourse and a new road layout on arrival, currently for racedays only. On racedays, all traffic approaching the racecourse from the east, west and north via the M4 (junctions 12 or 13) should travel along the A4 and follow the racecourse signs and enter the site via Hambridge Road. For Sat Nav users, the nearest postcode to the bridge is RG14 5AW.   If you are travelling from the south from the A339 follow signs and enter the course via Racecourse Road.

Please follow our yellow event day signage and accompanying brown signs which will bring you safely to our site. Once you reach us our traffic team will direct you to where you need to park. Please see the site map below which outlines the new road layout. Thank you for your ongoing co-operation and support.

Arrival on non-racedays

The new bridge is currently only open for racedays, so if you are visiting Newbury on a non-raceday, please use the A339 from both north and south and arrive on the site via Stroud Green, using the postcode RG14 7NZ.

    The racecourse is clearly signposted and just minutes from Junctions 12 and 13 of the M4, also easily accessible from the M3. The course is clearly signposted from the M4 and from the A34 South of Newbury. There is ample FREE on-the-day parking.

    Newbury Racecourse has its own station, one stop from Newbury Station, with direct trains from London Paddington on selected major racedays and regular connections from the West.

    The racecourse is within an hour of Heathrow and Southampton airports. We also have a helicopter landing area. However use of this is strictly by prior arrangement only with the Clerk of the Course. Please call the racecourse on 01635 40015 for details.
