CULTURE FEST 2013
Now in it’s 5th year, Culture Fest is organised by The West Berks Minority Ethnic Forum which is constantly growing and evolving; attracting new members and community groups.
Come along to this free event and absorb the atmosphere and vibrancy it has to offer. Try something new like Scottish dancing, French & British dances or Egyptian belly dancing! See the variety of cultural performances including Chinese Lion Dance, percussion drumming with the Drumrunners, street dance, South Indian dance, Gael Music, and Jamaican folk songs.
Try out a Thai foot massage, or Indian head massage, or have some henna body art. There are lots of hands on activities including fruit smoothie bikes, and Chinese crafts; you can even record your own music and sound!
In addition to performances and participation workshops, there are a variety of gift stalls to browse along with food tasters from around the World including foods from India, Pakistan, Japan, Malaysia and Jamaica.
Culture Fest 2013 promises to enthrall and entertain guests with colourful displays, dynamic performances and interactive workshops; a vibrant and diverse event not to be missed.
Organisers are also looking for volunteers to help marshal on the day, so if you are interested then please get in touch.
